WE NICAN TLACA WERE CREATED AND BORN
TO EXIST AS A PEOPLE OF GREATNESS,
NOT AS SLAVES OF THE EUROPEANS
We were meant to be intellectual jewels of turquoise.
We were meant to be the creative jewels of jade,
jewels of knowledge and courage,
jewels of genius civilizations and cities
built by a people of great accomplishments.
We were meant to be jewels of honor and dignity,
the jewels of being great teachers and great students,
the jewels of being warrior men and women.
We were NOT meant to be
meaningless grains of sand, worthless stones.
We were NOT meant to be slaves of the Europeans,
not these gangsters and drug addicts,
not these music and sports addicts,
not these cowards and traitors,
not these hypocritical Christians
and bleached and dyed blond-haired self-haters.
We were meant to be astronomers, mathematicians, writers, professors, philosophers, architects, engineers, doctors, intellectuals, and all of the other professions that make a nation great and free in pride on their own lands, on their own continent.
We can only correct our situation with serious study, disciplined organizing,
and devotion to a path
that will educate and train our people
for the liberation that must come into all of our lives.
Mexica Movement is bringing all of this light of truth and the path for Nican Tlaca to embrace and love.
Do not let yourself live like a meaningless grain of sand,
become the precious jewel that our people need.
