I WAS ASKED: WHY DO YOU SAY WE ARE SLAVES?
Slaves have no true history of themselves that they know of. We are almost all ignorant of our Nican Tlaca history. We call ourselves Hispanics and Latinos because our masters tell us to. We love all things European and hate all things Nican Tlaca.
Slaves have no lands, no true identity, they have no warriors to defend them and guide them and discipline them, they only serve their masters as "soldiers" protecting the wealth of their masters. Slaves have no future and no past: they are a non-people, a lesser set of human beings; according to Europeans (and we believe that is true because of our ignorance).
We do exactly the jobs that slaves would do: janitors, maids, gardeners, field work, truck drivers, etc. Even the better jobs are really slave jobs because they only serve the interests of our masters: the Europeans.
Remember that even slaves on plantations had no chains. They did not even understand the concept of the slavery that they lived because that life is all they knew: our people know nothing of the genius of our cities and civilizations and our great accomplishments.
Slaves knew no home but the plantation, no life other than that of a slave. We know nothing but gangs, poverty, shame, envy of "White" people.
Where are our warriors? What lands do we own? The soldiers of "Latin America" are controlled by criollos (descendants of pure Spanish blood). We have no history, no one teaching us our proud true Nican Tlaca history, and we never think of a Nican Tlaca future for our people: we only dream of "white" grandchildren; and the end of our non-white people.
Criollos control our lives, our lands, our wealth, our education, our culture, and what we think and what we do not think.
That is why we are slaves.
Postscript:
I have also heard this again and again: "You and I would not even exist if it where not for the Spanish coming to the Americas." I ALWAYS RESPOND: "I'm fine with not existing if 100 million of my people were never killed by Spaniards and our civilizations and cities were not destroyed; AND IF ALL OUR PEOPLE WERE FREE FROM EUROPEANS. Yes, I would gladly not exist to have the Spaniards never entering our lands, never entering our lives."
