FOR THE SITUATION AT STANDING ROCK TO IMPROVE
NOTHING WOULD HAVE HAPPENED AND THE PIPELINE
WOULD HAVE BEEN FINISHED BY NOW.
ACTIONS are what change things:
not words, not prayers, not "spirituality",
and not wishes for "peace", or being there "in spirit".
We have to stop playing games with words and emotions.
You do not help the situation at Standing Rock by just words and rituals and ceremonies. YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO DO SOMETHING like going there, or help others to go there.
We have to warrior up now, with knowledge, with actions.
You do not get knowledge from burning incense. You actually have to do some reading, some research, and get some experience as an activist to gain the Nican Tlaca knowledge of warriors that is necessary for our people to speak intelligently, to act as warriors in honor, and for our people to regain their dignity.
You do not get to be a warrior just by dressing up as one, putting on a tattoo, or just by dancing at pow wows. You actually have to confront colonialism and genocide and white supremacy every day of your life. Praying and burning incense will not make you a warrior----and there is no such thing as a "peaceful" warrior, that is like a Catholic claiming to be a prostitute nun (you can either be a prostitute or a nun, but you can't be both since one violate the purpose of the other; much like warrior is mean for war, not for peace).
Nican Tlaca, my people, we have to get up off our knees as slaves of the pale race of Europe. We have to get serious about study of our heritage: not skimming through books or watching one youtube and then declare that we are decolonized. We have to act as full human beings declaring our rights to our lands and to our dignity.
Mexica Movement is going to Standing Rock November 19th through the 29th and we need your help. If you are not going, help us to go.
We now have about 2 weeks to raise $4,000 dollars. We need you to help us make that happen.
If everyone on my list and the lists of friends of friends gave 5 Dollars each we would meet our goals easily.
