LIVING OUR LIVES IN HOLLYWOOD STEREOTYPES
We don't know how to live our lives
without acting out Hollywood stereotypes
of gangsters, drug dealers, fools, and
unintelligent people; of fake "Hispanic/Latinos";
of vendidos and drug addicts.
Hollywood doesn't know how to portray us
without the Hollywood stereotypes
of gangsters, drug dealers, fools, and
unintelligent people; of fake "Hispanic/Latinos";
of vendidos and drug addicts.
Popular knowledge of our Pre-1492 cities and civilizations
would change our people's view of themselves,
and they would act out as an intelligent, proud,
and honorable people who know that our ancestors
were a people of genius and great accomplishments,
and that we can live our lives like our ancestors.
Popular knowledge of our authentic Nican Tlaca identity
would stop the genocidal Hispanic/Latino labels.
Popular knowledge of the genocidal crimes
of the Europeans: stealing our lands by killing us
with smallpox as a weapon of mass extermination
would teach us the truth of the evil acts of Europeans
on our people that killed 95% of our people,
that killed 100 million of our people all across
our continent with the use of smallpox as a weapon,
and that destroyed our cities and civilizations and
burned our libraries, raped our people,
and culturally castrated us so that we would no longer
have knowledge of our history and that we would
have no pride as a Nican Tlaca people.
Let's change all of this by learning our Nican Tlaca history
and by teach what we know, until all of our people
know the truth and take pride in being Nican Tlaca,
and in taking actions to become scholar warriors
for the liberation of our continent, liberation from Europeans.
