NOT ALLOWED BY WHITE SUPREMACY
We are not allowed to be
warriors for our people:
to defend them, our people;
to attack our oppressors,
those of evil.
We have no wise ones
to guide us to honor and dignity,
to do what is noble and right.
We have no holy ones
to enlighten us
in that place between
our minds and our hearts,
where we may know
Our Creator
as Our True Mother,
as Our True Father.
We are not allowed to
be thinkers,
the creative geniuses
that we were 500 years ago:
builders of civilizations and cities,
art, architecture;
innovators in astronomy,
mathematics, calendars,
and medicine.
We are not allowed
any of this.
We are not allowed
our full humanity.
We are not allowed
to be Nican Tlaca.
Mostly, our own minds
will not allow us
to be Nican Tlaca
because of 500 years
of conditioning
to be slaves,
slaves of white supremacy.
Slaves need no leaders,
or warriors or wise ones.
Slaves do not need
to be thinkers, inventors,
educators, philosophers,
or liberators of their people.
We were not allowed
for 500 years
to be full human beings,
to be Nican Tlaca.
It is now only our
slave minds
that will not allow us
to be Nican Tlaca,
to be full human beings.
We need to break the chains
that keep us
from being who we were,
who we truly are,
the Nican Tlaca,
the true owners of this continent.
