WHEN DID YOU STOP BEING MEXICAN?

Cubans in Miami don’t call themselves Latino or Hispanic! They call themselves Cubans, and not even Cuban Americans! What’s wrong with them? Or is it us?

Puerto Ricans don’t call themselves Latino or Hispanic! Everything for them is Puerto Rican or Boricua! Yeah, once in a while they go along with “Latino”, but mostly not.

Mexicans are the vast majority of the people (over 70%) of those called Latino and/or Hispanic! But, the vast majority of our people call themselves Latino/Hispanic because the Spanish language media and English language media call us this, even though many of us have no Italian or Spaniard blood in us! Being mixed-blood does not deny you your right to call yourself Mexican or Nican Tlaca (Indigenous)!

Yeah, I know, most of our people say or you have heard it said, “I can’t deny my Spanish blood! My grandfather came from Spain” Yeah, we’ve all heard those fake stories and fake DNA claims. And it’s never the gueros (light skin) that cry this cry.

Who will die if you say I AM MEXICAN? Will people think you are an “Indio” if you call yourself Mexican? Will that disconnect you from Julio Iglesias and Spain?

African descent people, most of which have some European blood, don’t go around
calling themselves European because they have some European blood! They don’t call themselves British because they have British names. They don’t call themselves English because they speak English. You’ve never heard one say, “I am of Britanic heritage!”

So, what’s wrong with us, that we fear to call ourselves Mexican? What’s so evil about that identity? Especially when most know nothing of their true Nican Tlaca Mexican history other than the lies, the negative and the racist things that they call Mexicans.

Say, with pride: “I am Mexican because that is who I am, part of the Nican Tlaca,
part of all Indigenous people of this continent, the continent that we collectively own: I AM NICAN TLACA MEXICAN! I AM NICAN TLACA! I am not Hispanic, Latin, Latino, or Latinx because those are genocidal labels!” LEARN THE BEAUTIFUL HISTORY OF OUR PEOPLE!

Learn the truth and take pride in being Nican Tlaca Mexican. Stop being ashamed of being part of a history that you don’t know, a history of cities and civilizations with great genius contributions to the world in the fields of intellectual, scientific, literary, and philosophical achievements.
