HERITAGE DENIED
The story of Me begins with the Big Bang.
The story of All of Us begins with the Big Bang.
We did not begin when sperm met egg
or when we first saw light when we came out of the womb.
We began when and where all began:
in that great Big Bang of Creation
that was planned, designed, ignited,
and engineered by the Creator of Us All.
and engineered by the Creator of Us All.
The material of our flesh was born
in that Big Bang that created movement,
that created the elements of life all across
the universe, in measurements that we call time.
All of this, our Nican Tlaca ancestors knew, in scientific terms
and told it in writing, in metaphors, in allegories, in mythology,
in symbols, in poetry, in music, and in the art, architecture,
and rituals and ceremonies that educated our people.
Our ancestors were a people of magnificent genius
and you can verify that genius in our art and architecture,
in our sciences, in our civilizations and cities, in our histories,
but none of us truly know all of these accomplishments.
Today we are poisoned by Christianity and the evils
and ignorance of the racist and genocidal Pale Race of Europe.
We have no significant knowledge of ourselves.
We live as slaves, as fools, as a people without honor.
We have been gifted the beauty of existence by Our Creator
and we waste it all away by living empty useless colonized lives,
as cowards and traitors to ourselves and to our people.
We do not know honor or shame in our foolish slave lives.
We have the potential for genius and we burn it with weed.
We have the potential for accomplishments and honor
but we waste it all as gangsters, capitalists, Christians, criminals,
and sports fanatics, while we listen the empty music of our extermination.
Knowing all of this truth is not enough to make us a liberated people.
We need to be scholar warriors for our people, standing up
against colonialism and white supremacy, standing up against
the traitors and the ignorance and cowardice of our people.
We are the Mexica Movement who has done the scholar work
that educates and motivates our people to be warriors of action.
We have already begun the work of education for liberation.
We just need you to get up off of your knees and into liberation.
We will wait for you as we continue to do the work of liberation.
